China sends equipment-laden plane to Morocco to face Corona



✋After telephone talks with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, on the new Corona virus, China decided to send a plane of medical equipment to Morocco.

 Official sources confirmed to An e-mail, sunday, that the Royal Air Maroc plane went to the Republic of China on Saturday night to bring in medical assistance to combat the spread of the virus "Corona".

 Sources said that the plane arrived in China today at 10:00 a.m. Moroccan time, and is expected to return loaded with Chinese medical aid related to the fight "Corona", in the framework of benefiting from the Chinese experience in this field.

 The Moroccan foreign minister held a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart on Friday, and with foreign ministers from a number of countries known to be aware of the epidemic, he participated in a "video meeting" with senior Chinese officials to discuss ways to tackle the corona epidemic.

 In the first phase, coordination between Morocco and China is expected to be limited to medical equipment related to the CORONA virus, and could include the use of the experience of Chinese doctors in the event of an epidemic in the Kingdom.

 Xinhua news agency reported that the Chinese foreign minister had made a telephone conversation with Nasser Purita, minister of foreign affairs and African cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, about the new Corona virus disease (Covid-19).

 The same source reported that Borita thanked the Chinese side for its sympathy and solidarity with the Moroccan people and praised China's support for Morocco. "China has set basic standards for the international community in terms of disease control," Burrita said, according to Xinhua.

 "Morocco is keen to learn from China's expertise in prevention and control, and to move forward towards strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Chinese medical experts," Borita said, according to the same source.

 "Although China still needs a large amount of medical supplies to prevent the disease, it will do its utmost to help the countries concerned to purchase products from China and provide green corridors for customs clearance and transportation," the same source said.

 China has sent a plane of medical equipment and experts to Italy to help cope with the Corona epidemic, and has pledged to provide the EU with muzzles and screening devices to combat the outbreak of the new Corona virus, including "2 million surgical muzzles, 200,000 N/95 and 50,000 screening devices."
