Covid 19 America's third focus, Trump resents China, Saudi Arabia bans curfews

The United States ranks third globally on the new CORONA virus prevalence map, as the outbreak accelerates. In the Arab world, the King of Saudi Arabia declared a curfew to curb the spread of the epidemic, while Syria recorded the first confirmed infection.

According to the latest data available from many sources, global lycée-19 cases caused by the new CORONA virus have risen to more than 300,000, while the death toll has exceeded 13,000.

The following are the most notable developments related to the spread of the Coronavirus in recent hours:

✊United States:
The number of deaths from the virus has risen to 416, while the total number of confirmed infections has exceeded 33,000, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States ranks third in terms of HIV infections after China and Italy.

President Donald Trump announced the deployment of the National Guard in New York, California and Washington states to implement emergency measures to contain the spread of the virus, while the Department of Defense announced the mobilization of more than 7,000 National Guard personnel in all states to implement mass quarantine measures.

"This will be the biggest internal crisis since the Great Depression," New York Mayor Bill de Blasio told CNN, referring to the economic crisis of the 1930s. "This makes us need a comprehensive mobilization of the U.S. military," he said, adding that the worst is yet to come.

Under the latest measures, a third of Americans in total are subject to stay-at-home orders in seven states, with Louisiana and Ohio on Sunday declaring an extended curfew, joining New York, California, Illinois, Connecticut and New Jersey.

At his most recent press conference on the crisis, Trump said he had spoken with Chinese President Xi Jinping about the CORONA virus, adding that he was "a little upset" with China.

Trump said Saturday that he wished China had informed him about the virus early.

Meanwhile, Senator Rand Paul announced that the test results confirmed his HIV status, becoming the first U.S. senator to be infected with Corona.

✊Italy:

The death toll from corona has risen to 5.5,000 after 651 new cases were reported, authorities said Sunday.

As a result, Italy ranks first in the world in terms of the number of new hiv deaths, while the number of infections on its territory has exceeded 53,000.

The Italian Prime Minister has announced a series of additional measures to curb the spread of the virus, including closing down companies and halting any productive activity in the country except for basic services. Public services such as health, food and transport, as well as postal and banking services, will be maintained.

Fears are prevailing in Europe, which the World Health Organization (WHO) has identified as the epicentre of the Corona outbreak, of a repeat of the Italian scenario.

✊Saudi Arabia:
King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., starting Monday evening for 21 days to curb the spread of the coronavirus, state media reported.

✋U.A.E:
The Uae Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced on Sunday evening that all flights, including transit flights to and from the UAE, were suspended for two weeks as part of corona prevention measures.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health decided on Sunday to close all commercial centres and open markets, with the exception of food outlets and pharmacies, for two weeks, subject to review and evaluation. It was also decided to limit the work of restaurants to delivery services.*
